Yes, this is an antique. It probably weighs 500 pounds. Jerry brought it over from his Dad's farm. He unloaded it all by himself off his truck. That would be a miracle in itself. L and I tried to move it, but we couldn't. So it just stayed put right where Jerry delivered it. D &K were over today to try out the antique toy. We had quite the juices flowing It is a lot of work, though, would be much easier just to go out to the grocery store and buy a gallon. We ground and pressed about 1 bushel of apples and it made about 2 to 3 gallons. I haven't gone out to see what the last batch produced. But it sure is good tasting cider, not to mention the fun we had making it. Later my friends and family. RAffieSunday, September 26, 2010

Wow, it makes me think of Derek's pitching machine, which is in the back yard and also weighs a lot. Although it would be easier to just go down the street and buy a gallon of cider, when you drink a glass of this home made cider, you will appreciate every drop of it.
